Rev. Green is a native of Tampa, FL. Rev. Green is married to his lovely wife, Deaconess Betty J. Green.  Rev. Green is a graduate of Middleton High School in Tampa, FL.

Rev. Green served in the U.S. Navy for six years and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He pursued a Business Administration and Psychology degree at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, FL. Rev. Green acknowledged his call into the gospel ministry in 1998. He was ordained and received his ministerial training with the National Primitive Baptist Association under the late Elder Theodis Lane, Sr. Pastor at the Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church where he served as Associate Pastor from 1998 to 2001. 

In 2001 Rev. Green founded the House of Restoration Church of God Inc. Ministry where he was Senior Pastor and CEO until 2019. He joined Greater Bethel in June 2019 and serves as Associate Minister to Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. under the direction of Rev. Dr. Brett Snowden. 

Rev. Green  is a current member of the Board of Directors to Centers Resi-Serv Inc.
